Telemedicine facilities
The following facilities have Telemedicine connections to which Dr. Mazzarella is directly connected:

If you are at one of these facilities (or at another facility that offers Telemedicine), please call the on-call number (530) 458-3243 x1027 to arrange an emergency consult. (Second opinions can also be given.)
Direct Telemedicine consults (via Skype, Ekiga, or other videoconferencing technology) are also available for any patient who has these videoconferencing abilities at home. Dr. Mazzarella has Telemedicine capabilities from both his home and office and can often accommodate Telemedicine requests at times other than during regular office hours.
